It is astonishing to me that we are preparing for our SIXTH annual conference to happen September 5 and 6, 2016 in Granada, Spain! It seemed like yesterday when we gathered for the very first time in Toronto and co-created Critical Dietetics as a vital and affirming movement within the profession. That was June 2010!

Yesterday, we published our SIXTH journal issue entitled, Constituting Subjectivities with an emphasis on becoming what we know as “dietitian”. The collaborative effort continues to build in provocative and compelling ways. Take a moment to visit our Journal, register as a reader if you haven’t already, and read the latest issue. 

The call for abstracts for the conference is going to be shared in the coming weeks. Please consider submitting an abstract and joining us in Spain. Along with our usual paper sessions, we are planning for some performative aspects and non-traditional means for people to join the conversation i.e. web-based sessions.
