Hello,
Our fourth issue is now live at http://criticaldietetics.ryerson.ca/index.php/criticaldietetics/index where you need to register (for free) as a reader to download all content. We will feature each of the articles here over the next few months to enable the authors to engage in dialogue with you. So, get your questions ready! That’s what it means to be critical.
This is our most diverse issue to date. We have our usual entries including an editorial from Lucy Aphramor, our esteemed guest editor and four research papers, but we have also published a Critical Dietetics Discussion Paper outlining the movement in relation to other health social movements, a reflexive piece about a dream (or nightmare), an introduction to a member of Critical Dietetics, Lindsey Mazur, and a very fancy call for abstracts to our upcoming conference.
Speaking of that, there are two short weeks left before the deadline for abstracts and pre-conference workshops for our fourth International Critical Dietetics Conference in Chicago. Submit your ideas to Yuka Asada <yasada2@uic.edu> by Mar. 31.
Now, without further ado, let me present Dr. Aphramor’s guest Editorial outlining the promise and the peril contained by this issue. We forage ahead…
